The aim of the RLS is to pursue and implement projects on a regional, national, and international level to disseminates knowledge about increasingly complex social contexts.
Our Goals
Political Education
The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung seeks to develop and expand the concept of political education by emphasizing critical analysis of society as our central task, further underlined by our namesake. As a foundation bearing the name of the left-wing visionary Rosa Luxemburg, the RLS stands in the tradition of the workers' and women's movements, as well as anti-fascism and anti-racism. It is committed to a radical perspective emphasizing public awareness, enlightenment, and critique.
Political Alternatives
The critical analysis of society includes the firm belief that social change requires a reflective confrontation with today's capitalist society as a whole. Therefore, the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung facilitates programmatic discussions around a modern conception of democratic socialism, and strives to develop alternative concepts for a comprehensive process of social transformation. It fosters networks of emancipatory political, social, and cultural initiatives to enable the creation of a more united and just society.
